Intervention and Prevention of Chronic Diseases

This dynamic and engaging Second International Conference will focus on bringing together the expertise and experiences of Tai Chi and Qigong researchers, practitioners, educators, and policy makers from around the world.  During the conference we will explore how Tai Chi / Qigong, as well as related mind-body practices, can be used to address the global health crisis associated with chronic disease and aging.

If you are a researcher and/or a provider whose focus is on clinical or translational aspects related to the utilization of Tai Chi / Qigong in clinical research environment; community health settings (hospitals, extended care facilities, retirement communities, agencies); or educational settings (elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and colleges), we encourage you to attend and to submit an abstract describing your current work and ideas. 

If you are a researcher and / or provider interested in an area of study related to Tai Chi /Qigong, such as, energy healing, exercise, meditation, moving meditation, and yoga, we invite you to attend and to submit an abstract describing your current research and experiences with the intervention and prevention of chronic diseases.

If you are interested in learning more about these movement-based meditative practices for personal or professional growth or to share this information with your community, you are invited to attend the conference.
